Dance was the first form

of learned communication I received, deeply woven into my Gujarati culture and family. As a young child, I watched my mother dance onstage, her whole spirit alight with joy as she narrated mythological tales with her body. Before long, I found myself telling stories on stage alongside my mom.

Notable Achievements

Receiving the Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Award for Choreography in the Young Audiences category is a beautiful recognition from the community and the Sterling Committee. This honour celebrates my expertise and skill as a South Asian Choreographer in the musical theatre industry. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my parents for supporting my passion as an artist and to Farren Timoteo, the Director of AMTC, for recognizing my talents and nominating me for this category. Thank you all for this incredible acknowledgment.

Bollywood Kids

  • For children ages 8-12

    Children will learn the basic foundation movements of dance, including rhythm and counting beats.

Advanced Movement

  • One of my favourite classes to teach!

    We learn complex sequences, formations, and a variety of dance styles as we weave stories into choreography.

    Must have dance experience.
